Microsoft Word is still the worst product ever.

Raves, raves about how good Microsoft Office 2008 for the Mac is, how much an improvement it is. Well, given how buggy 2004 was it couldn't be much worse. And yeah, it does mostly seem to work better.

But they still haven't fixed Word's basic inability to manage numbering.

Yeah, numbering. Simple simple numbering. Can't handle it. Restarts numbering mid-sequence. Restarts numbering continuing from a numbered list above the currenct list. Renumbers entire lists when you rebuild the table of contents.

Crappiest piece of document editing software I have ever used.
